My husband and I met Cheryl on a whim at an open house while on vacation in Scottsdale last fall; she treated us like we were old friends stopping by to chat. There are not enough words to describe our home-buying experience with Cheryl as our buyer’s agent! From day one, she quickly understood our complex needs: moving across the country, having a multigenerational household requiring a very specific floor plan, and under a serious time crunch to sell two homes in the Midwest, move for work, and buy in the Phoenix area. Both she and her right-hand partner Cheryl are detail-oriented, organized, savvy negotiators, and have a host of top-notch referrals and business partners! They are equally amazing and work so well together! They are truly a “one-stop shop” for all of our real estate needs! Cheryl is a consummate professional with a “go-getter”, “boots on the ground”, Midwest work ethic and style. Yet, she uniquely balances this with her high integrity, creativity, patience, humor, and a welcomed spiritual and deeply family-oriented vibe that draws you to her only moments after meeting her. In fact, if it was not for Cheryl linking us with Ryan – a terrific lender – we would not have been able to get a much better deal than we would have otherwise gotten with the lender we had been using for several years. Through her keen eye for detail and organization, Cheryl handled the home inspection as if she was “born to do it.” In fact, it made us wonder if she had ever had contracting or construction experience given how much she knew about the detailed technical aspects of the report. Did I mention she does not sleep either it seems?! It became obvious that Cheryl must have combed through that multi-page report – and could quote content down to page number, paragraph number, and line. In fact, during a conference call she scheduled with us, Cheryl literally took the inspection report where she prioritized the issues ahead of time, and walked us through it “line-by-line.” She explained what was meant by the various issues in the inspection report, “calmed our nerves” when some issues appeared to us initially as more serious than they were, and then provided solid advice on what our next steps should be. She was persistent in her negotiations with the seller on our behalf to achieve a resolution on needed repairs - all to our complete satisfaction. Cheryl’s laser-focus and “goal-centered” seriousness” is perfectly balanced with her lighthearted positive energy and collaborative and engaging style – making it just fun to talk with her about hard issues like the “dreaded inspection report!” Ben and Renee

Cheryl has been accommodating and helpful since the moment we met her. We are long-term residents of the great Phoenix/Scottsdale area. We were driving Fountain Hills neighborhoods slowly to get a lay of the land and real estate properties when she approached our car asking if we needed help. We didn't know she was an agent, and she didn't know we were looking for real estate! We explained our purpose, and although she was not in "work mode," she was very helpful with information about the community and local real estate market. Although we have no prior history with her, we chose to work with her because she was already providing exceptional customer service even before we became customers, and she is very knowledgeable about the area in which we were looking. She truly listened to what we were looking for in a home. She gave us the space to discern details for ourselves, yet she was firm in her recommendation to view a property she thought would be perfect for us. Cheryl was absolutely right! We were so fortunate to have had Cheryl as our REALTOR. She found us the perfect home and that was no easy feat. My husband and I changed direction several times during the process and we wanted to see everything on the market. I have not purchased a home in 37 years so was a bit rusty on my home purchase skills. The didn't matter to Cheryl as she patiently guided me through the entire process of finding the perfect home through post purchase. She was all over every step of inspection remedies which included giving the seller's realtor recommendations on how to fix any issue. She didn't give up until all my needs were met. Since I was an out of state buyer she was always willing to meet different services at the house until all issues were resolved even after the sale of the house. Wouldn't you like to find a real estate professional that absolutely loves that they do every day?  It has been said that if you love your job, you will be a strong performer and be the happiest in life.  That being said, I LOVE my job and have been helping people find their dream homes for 18 years.  My goal is to make your buying or selling a positive experience from start to finish.  This is done with great communication and follow-up, not to mention hard work.

I'm a North Dakota native but have lived in Arizona for the past 41 years. I moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona MBA program in 1983.  I remained in Tucson until 1987 where I purchased a business in the Phoenix area.  Truth be told, when I saw my first palm tree I thought I died and went to heaven!  I took to the sunshine and outdoor lifestyle immediately and have embraced this ever since with hiking, running and biking.  

I have been married to my husband Rob since 1991 and have two grown daughters who live in NYC, both of whom are soon to be married and hopefully will start families of their own.  Lauren, my oldest works for a medical hedge fund company and Caroline has been modeling for 10 years.  They both have French Bulldogs that we all adore however, I am looking forward to grandchildren sometime in the near future.
